Michael Rosen, President

Mr. Rosen has over 40 years of auction/appraisal experience in the machinery and equipment industry, all with Rosen Systems. He began in this business working for his father, Irv Rosen, and has served in various management roles throughout the business including field supervisor, senior appraiser, and auctioneer. Mike earned his BBA from the University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 1976. He also is a certified equipment appraiser (CEA) and real estate broker. Mike has served on the boards of the Industrial Auctioneers Association, and Machinery Dealers National Association, and is a past president of the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers, and is a member of the National Auctioneers Association (NAA) and Texas Auctioneers Association (TAA).

David Dalfonso, Vice President of Valuations

Mr. Dalfonso has over 25 years of experience in the valuation and appraisal industry, specializing in machinery and equipment, all with Rosen Systems. David has served in various roles throughout his tenure including director of research, auctioneer, and senior appraiser. David earned his Bachelor of Science in business management from The College of Steubenville. He is also a certified equipment appraiser (CEA), and a member of the MDNA, AMEA, and National Association of Credit Management.

Stephen C. Rosen, Vice President of Real Estate

Mr. Rosen has over 25 years of experience in the valuation and appraisal industry, specializing in real estate. Steve earned his BA from The University f Memphis, and his MPA from Southern Methodist University. In addition he is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in both Georgia and Texas. Steve is also an associate member of the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers, and the Society of Real Property Administrators.

Gary L. Penn, Vice President of Valuations

Mr. Penn has over 15 years of experience in the valuation and appraisal industry, specializing in machinery and equipment. Prior to joining Rosen Systems, Gary worked in the aluminum and steel fabrication, and thermo plastic molding and blow molding industries. There he was responsible for corporate purchasing, inventory management, and operations. Gary earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania. He is also a Certified Equipment Appraiser (CEA) and a member of the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers.

Kyle Rosen, Vice President of Auction Services

Mr. Rosen has been in the industrial auction and appraisal industry since 2003, specializing in machinery and equipment, all with Rosen Systems. He has served in various roles including director of research, field supervisor, appraiser, and auctioneer. Kyle earned his Bachelor of Economics with an emphasis in business from the University of Texas at Austin. He is also a member of the Industrial Auctioneers Association (IAA) serving on the board of directors as president, treasurer, and vice president, National Auctioneers Association (NAA), and Texas Auctioneer's Association (TAA).

Michelle J. Rosen, Director of Advertising

Mrs. Rosen has over 25 years of experience in the industrial auction and appraisal industry, specializing in advertising. Prior to joining Rosen Systems, Michelle worked as an educator for the Texas public school system. Michelle earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Texas at Austin. She is also a member of the Machinery Dealers National Association, Turnaround Management Association, and Industrial Auctioneers Association.

Michael Feinstein

Mr. Feinstein has over 25 years of experience in the industrial machinery and equipment industry. In addition to his role at Rosen Systems, Michael serves as the president of Universal Metalworking Equipment in Houston, TX. Michael earned his Bachelor of Business in accounting from The University of Texas at Austin. He has served on the Board of Directors and is a past president of the Machinery Dealers National Association (MDNA), and president of the Machinery Information System/LOCATOR Services. In addition Michael is a Certified Equipment Appraiser (CEA) and a member of the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers (AMEA). Most recently, Michael earned the designation of Certified Machine Tool Sales Engineer (CMTSE) through the American Machine Tool Distributors Association (AMTDA).

John R. Tannehill, Senior Real Estate Appraiser

Mr. Tannehill has over 20 years of experience in the valuation and appraisal industry, specializing in real estate. He earned his BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University, graduating in 1972. John has also completed courses from The American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers (AIREA).
